摘要
In this talk, we give two new and simple proofs of Caristi's fixed point theorem without using Zorn's lemma, transfinite induction and any well-known principle. We introduce the concept of essential distance which generalizes the concept of τ-function. A generalization of Caristi's fixed point theorem and its equivalent theorems for essential distances are established.
